Brown Estate is a family owned and operated private estate winery tucked into the hills east of Rutherford in the Napa Valley. Eagle & Rose Estate is in Pope Valley, tucked in the Napa Valley's legendary eastern hills. Founded by Norman Alumbaugh, the winery was built, extensive caves dug and the first vines were planted in 1995. Admiring the eagles which soared above their wild rose-covered valley, Alumbaugh's wife, Evonne, suggested the name Eagle & Rose Estate . . .

Named for its red iron soils veined with green serpentine, is located in the steep hills on the east side of Napa Valley.
